Networking is "challenging" at best if you are not running bone stock configuration..
I would love to se OpenWRT/Luci-interface on open plotter för custom network-environment.
vYacht-gateway-router runs signalK and the above solution for networking/routing and is super-easy to setup.
As per usual, I suck at Linux, so I can not contribute much with more than the idea.
