Some tips:

First try the official Raspberry OS image to confirm that your power supply, your Raspberry and your SD are OK.

Then use OpenPlotter v3, not v2.

Use only the Raspberry Pi imager software to install OpenPlotter, do not use anything else.

Thanks Paddy - that worked.

I saved them but how do you reload? Do you put the KIP files in the Chromium-browser folder??

Look in settings / configuration >
Save & load from there, I have one saved for laptop & another for a tablet.

"Maybe you should check in every so often if you are going to keep breaking SK"

Signalk wasn't actually  broken, it's just old data in your browser, just delete the old data.

Slack is the place to talk signalk, much better route to talk to the main & app developers >> http://slack-invite.signalk.org/

Hi! I would like to join slack but this lik (http://slack-invite.signalk.org/) doesn't work anymore, how can I get invited? thx

try - https://join.slack.com/t/signalk-dev/shared_invite/zt-1leccop43-KrU7G6yBq9g91KXjZtNg1g
That's from https://signalk.org/

many thanks!

My RasPi 3, running bullseye and OpenPlotter v3.x alpha with a Pican-M Canbus is not showing any connection activity in SignalK. The data is available by running candump can0 in terminal, but the deltas/second within SignalK is always zero. Have reconfigured everything a couple times now and am at a loss for how to proceed.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

RE: OpenPlotter 3 roadmap - Sailoog - 2023-07-21

Please open a new thread providing your openplotter-signalk-installer version, your signal k server version and your node version.

RE: OpenPlotter 3 roadmap - Sailoog - 2023-08-04

New images for OpenPlotter v3 Starting, OpenPlotter v3 Headless and OpenPlotter v3 Touchscreen.

All these new images have OpenCPN 5.8.4 (from PPA) pre-installed.

RE: OpenPlotter 3 roadmap - Miya66 - 2023-08-05

As of my last update in September 2021, I don't have access to real-time information. Please visit OpenPlotter's official website or community forums for the latest roadmap.

I haven't encountered that specific issue, but it sounds like there might be a communication configuration discrepancy between your RasPi 3, OpenPlotter v3.x alpha, and SignalK.

Double check your settings, ensure the Canbus is properly recognized, and consider seeking advice from relevant forums or technical support for more targeted help.
