hello everyone and thank you for letting me join. i have a new pi4b i am trying to download openplotter to using the basic method. the pi is trying to boot but cant ,says i need to update the software i am using. the message reads "this board requires newer software" has anyone seen this and is there going to be newer software for this new pi? thank you john

Hello,
I had the same problem last week RPi42G & OP, during the boot : same answer : this board requires newer software". I put the Sd Card on my RPI3B+ it boots without problem. so I made the following commands on the RPI3B+
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade
sudo shutdown -r now
Then put back the SD card on the Rpi4 : it's OK
But without the RPI3B+ I will not have any solution
