rudder feed back Hall sensof - ReinierD - 2022-03-18

RP! 4 with latest openplotter
I am at home fiddling around with the goal to make a pypilot for a motorsailor 14 000 kilo with old cetrex hydraulic autopilot. The mechanic relais contactpoints are weare out, so time to upgrade. So the software openplotter and the imu (mpu 9250) is working. Next motor ino for the nano atmega328p. I downloaded the latest with braking. [Image: 2342579?s=48&v=4]

As rudder feedback I have a AVX 91681 000 10

Now question: What resistance have I to fill in in the motor sketch?  As pot 5Kohm and do calibration later?

There is no resistance to fill out as the rudder feedback is just an analog voltage.

Thanx. So 0.5 volt  will be starboard and 4.5 volt  port ratiometric.

This should do fine. The resolution is approx 1/1023 of 5 volts.. so usually about 0.1 degrees for rudder position.
