Restore network settings to default - MigGat - 2022-05-04 Hello, I think I somehow broke my network settings. Could be related to the installation of an incorrect AvNav package (as Wellenvogel pointed out here), or to the several things I tried to fix it it. Point is: I've been using the "On board" configuration all winter winth the Rpi at home, connected with ethernet cable, and there was an "openplotter" WLAN working perfectly fine. I can connect devices to the openplotter wlan and raspberry has internet access through the ethernet (connected to home router). However today I switched Network's app configuration to "Station and AP", and even though I have a WLAN configured as "openplotter", from other devices I can only see "avnav1" network, which leads me to think that I really fucked something up with the avnav installation. So, is there any way to restore all network settings and start over? Thanks! RE: Restore network settings to default - wellenvogel - 2022-05-05 Did you already remove the avnav-raspi package and rebooted afterwards? This should remove the avnav networking stuff. RE: Restore network settings to default - MigGat - 2022-05-05 OMG I feel so dumb right now I thought installing the right package would fix whatever avnav-raspi did... but indeed, just removed avnav-raspi, rebooted, and everything works as expected, cinluding iPhone wifi sharing. Thanks!! |
