Hi,
I have the same connection issue.
The antenna seems to work properly. I'm receiving AIS data.
But when I try to open the MAIANA APP it says "Cannot connect with the device".
I also was transferring the data to my Navionics app on ipad, but it won't work anymore. But this is maybe something else...

Hello,
I don't know if you already solved your problem, but I just had the same, and I solved it by disable a connections using the same ttyUSB0 port. So check your other connections in SignalK, and be sure that Maiana is not using the same port.
