V belt too much slippage? - joemoon - 2023-02-13 I am beginning to think about installing pypilot on my 33fter and plan to use windshield wiper motor to drive my steering wheel. A lot of people are using plastics for pulleys. There are many off the shelf V pulleys that come in many sizes. Has anyone have experience using V belt? Joe RE: V belt too much slippage? - seandepagnier - 2023-02-16 I think the timing belts (with teeth) are preferred to get better traction. The belt doesnt spin that fast it needs good grip. |
