I would like an "Arthur defaults" Checkbox to set the defaults to "/boot/config.txt"
or an Docu for the Settings here, so not everyone has to get into the internals of the HAT to check the Pinouts.

ok, thanks for the link and your development.
Even there are some special double uses for connections: but some are not modificable and default for the HAT.
These should be easy settable with an checkbox from the config app.
I would also like an output for the cooling FAN, maybe in the next Version.

Do you mean a specific app to configure some features with just one click? We'll see if there's demand for that when the HAT is in production.
You can connect a cooling fan to any GPIO.
