OpenPlotter labels disappearing, then stuck - sailGerbil - 2024-05-06
Something strange is happening with my newly installed Openplotter setup.
Everything works fine, but then labels disappear from the display. For example I have widget displaying true wind speed; after about one hour (it’s variable though) the title TWS disappears.
After a few hours functioning (always more than 2-3 hrs) the whole system is stuck and all data is frozen.
If I do a power off-on cycle then everything goes back to normal.
The NMEA bus is always working ok because B&G connected to it keep working and display data ok.
Has anyone experienced such a behaviour?
Is there a solution?

I also encountered the same situation as you. The cause seems to be that OpenPlotter running on Raspberry Pi or similar devices may have problems running many utilities. As for the solution, I don't know, I went to the shop to fix it.
