Raymarine ST60+ and raspberry pi holder - gpatsiaouras - 2025-02-17

Hello everyone,

This is not exactly a "Macarthur HAT case or enclosure" but I am uploading it in case someone finds it useful. I made a design to mount Raymarine ST60+ instruments that can be stacked horizontally plus a holder for the raspberry pi to sit next to them. I added a hole in the latter one for a rocker switch to be used the same way you have an "instruments" or "computer" switch on your boat. This is basically a setup if you want to test/debug stuff with seatalk communication on your warmth of your house before putting it on the boat.

And some pictures.

That's a nice and tidy test setup! Thanks for sharing Smile

For me, being able to create a mock-up at home before deploying it on a real ship is very important. The design you shared is very reasonable, allowing me to test the Seatalk circuit, integrate the Raspberry Pi, and test the software conveniently and safely. What I like most is that you have provided a place for the switch, a "real board - simulated environment" style.  Baseball Bros Game
