Accel Calibration Log:need more range
#1
I keep getting this on my accel calibration log
Accel Calibration Log:need more range 0.0124
I have tried to calibrate multiple times.
I am using a rpi4 with openplotter setup. I am using my phone web interface with Pipilot.
My Imu is a Spark Fun ICM 20948
Any Suggestions on how to get to calibrate? And what does need more range mean?

did you set the sensors to measure all 3 axes with + and - 1 g? hold it with each side of a box down for a few seconds.

Yes I tried that many times. On both cards that I had.   I held down each side and the top and bottom. I have the card mounted to box lid. What do you mean with + and 1g maybe I am missing something?

I think what you have is the accelerometers are already calibrated. You cannot get any improvement if the new calibration is the same as the old one.

If it says "need more range" this indicates you do not have still points needed for calibration.
