openplotter nmea0183 digital yacht usb converter - no data
#1
Hello, I'm new.
I have Openplotter and a NEXUS System with nmea0183. I connect a digital yacht nmea to usb converter. I have config serial device and connection to signal k (4800 or 38400baud). I have not data in signal k. Serial an connection in openplotter are green.
With same configuration and a avnav image without openplotter all nmea date in avnav.

What ist my mistake? Thanks.

What if you delete the OpenPlotter connection and do a connection directly into OpenCPN? Are you seeing data from the USB dongle?

It sounds like you're having an issue with getting your NMEA 0183 data to appear in Signal K on OpenPlotter, despite the fact that the serial connection appears to be established. Since the same configuration works with AVNav, the hardware setup seems correct. The issue is likely related to the software configuration in OpenPlotter.
