Hi All:
I’m the new owner of a Catalina 34. The previous owner (deceased) installed a great instrument suite using Signal K, Raspberry Pi, and Grafana. I have been able to access the grafana output and see the instrument readings, but I am not a tech person and I have no idea how to take control of this system.
I can tell the previous owner put a ton of time and effort into putting this system together and I don’t want to take it out, but I don’t even know where to begin in terms of 1. Understanding how it works, and 2. Taking control of it. Right now, it’s all automated and the passwords all auto populate so I’m scared to change anything, but I could really use some guidance and help figuring this all out. I’m even willing to pay someone to help me understand all of this. The boat is in Myrtle Beach.
