Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B
#1
I want to upgrade Raspi 3B to Raspi 4B, with the first gen of Moitessier HAT.
It does not fit phisically because they inverted the eth and usb ports.
Is it possible to file the HAT pcb to fit, without damaging anything ?

Thank you
Richard

One thing you can do is to put a stacking header on the GPIO. Something like this (you might want to cut the pins a little shorter) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B089GGR6HB

I filed the PCB and it worked but I absolutely recommend the header expander option.

Thank you... I was scared to file, not knowing about the layers, and some vias are in the way, maybe only ground plane

Only vias... there are no signal lines underneath, the inner layers are power layers only. However, warranty will be lost if cutting the board.
