The latest Eeprom version changes the Eeprom on the RPI hardware.

With the latest Eeprom you can also boot from an USB stick or an SSD. You can even leave the SD card out of the system.

With the copy software you can write to the SSD or the or the other way around. Copying the SSD image to the SD card.

Running here very well from my PCIe NVMe SSD with USB3.1.
