Seatalk input, MacArthur HAT and rpi5. Options?

2. If it's never going to be fixed, do you have any suggestions on how to read the seatalk input? I see two options, using a raspberry pi 4 instead, or using some external seatalk -> NMEA0183 or usb. Though the latter one is very expensive and I would try to avoid.

I have the same "issue" as gpatsiaouras, I need Setalk to work with the RPI5 and MacArthur HAT, don't want an external converter due to more stuff that can break an draw power (but they seams to do the job).

Any timeframe when we can expect the GPIO library to work with the RPI5?
If it's far away I guess I go with a RPI4... Or???
