AIS alarm with watchdog:
#1
Hello,

After reading the excellent article: https://1plus1blog.com/2017/04/19/fabriq...t-opencpn/, I realized it and it works perfectly!
For solo sailing, all that is missing is an alarm that would allow me to rest more serenely off!
So I turned to the plugin 'watchdog' which proposes to establish a guard zone around the boat with the plugin 'OCpn draw' and to warn in case of presence of a ship (equipped with a transponder!) in the defined area.
I am under openplotter 1.2, with opencpn 5.0.0, OCpn Draw 1.5 and Watchdog 1.9042.
Despite many tests, the presence of an AIS target does not trigger any watchdog action that does not seem to detect it.
I made a test under windows by connecting Opencpn to the server sinagot.net to recover AIS and there, everything is ok, which seems to eliminate a mistake of manipulation on my part! (the same test under openplotter does not work !!).
Someone would have tried to set an AIS alarm with watchdog and could he help me ??
Cordially.
