I am attempting to set up an openplotter system for a club owned boat, I know that members will just power off the navigation instruments without shutting down the RasPi.
Does anyone have any knowledge of using upsd with Open Plotter?

It seems to use a basic battery bank and detect when an ethernet hub, not powered by the battery bank, disconnects, then initiates a managed shutdown.
Are there any other basic UPS' available that do similar?
Can anyone recommend a good unfiltered 12v to 5v converter with enough power to run a Raspberry Pi 4, Small Ethernet Switch, Small Travel Router and a handful of addons (RTLSDR, GPS Dongle, RS232-USB etc.)?
