USB3.0 was killing my moitessier GPS reception which is btw very good on its own antenna.
I solved it with a cheap GPS antenna with extension cord to SMA and placing the antenna 1,5 meter away from PI

Did you tried with Moitessier external GNSS antena ?
Yes, that's what I did and if extended 1,5 meter away, I got perfect reception.
