I have just upgraded this morning and the stable is 5.4.83 not 5.10.5. You are using the beta. Be careful because this could cause problems for someone.

this is the safe way to update to stable versions:

sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade

and this is what you should NOT do if you want to have only the stable kernel:

I'm announcing the release of the 5.10.5 kernel.

All users of the 5.10 kernel series must upgrade.

The updated 5.10.y git tree can be found at:
