A boat with no Electronics, Thoughts/Ideas
#1
Hello All
My current boat has no electronics with the exception of an old hull mounted depth sounder. (it appears to work)
I have a Raspberry Pi 4 4gb, and a Moitessier HAT V.1 for a starting point.
I've had it stored away for awhile and Openplotter has advanced a lot since i purchased these things so there are new and different ways of accomplishing things now.
My Goal, is to build a reasonably full featured electronics suite for my boat. (no i didn't define full featured, yes its on purpose)

I would like to hear from everyone there thoughts on a economical system that could be put together to provide a boat with a nice range of features.
I've got an idea of what i would like to do, but i would like others input to see what they think and come up with. as some times we get focus on one avenue of doing something while missing a whole other way of doing something So please feel free to discuss and explore ideas.

i look forward to see what ppl have come up with.
