ok. after a few hours and review of the serialprobe.py i have updated files.

.pypilot/serial_ports
.pypilot/servodevice

i have used ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1 rather than by-id and/or by-path
I will reboot a few times and see if the devices will stick.
