Last Firmware driver was provided in November 2021, for kernel 5.10.63
Updating to a newer kernel (currently 5.10.103) turns the HAT into a useless brick.
It was promoted and advertised as 'open source', however since 4 yrs (!) their github page still states:
Anyone out there who can shed some light on this? Is there any chance to update kernel without losing the HAT's functionality?

Currently the firmware for the Moitessier HAT microcontroller will be revised. As soon as this process is finished, the source code will be published. In the meantime you can use the precompiled binary.Anyone out there who can shed some light on this? Is there any chance to update kernel without losing the HAT's functionality?
