My mouse Gps works fine on /dev/ttyOP_GP.
Is there a way (or how ) to set up xgps from gpsd so that I can have the sky view ?
TIA

I compiled the latest version of GPSD, (great if you're retired with an afernoon to kill), hunted for the latest version of python-gps, discovered how poor openplotter distrib is (no gdebi for instance)...
No luck: xgps won't run (as other python scripts). However compiled apps like gpsmon run fine
So I quit...

what's skyview?  Looks like some sort of aircraft thing? Openplotter is very much designed for small boat nav which could explain the lack of response, that and everyone is eating turkey Wink
Could skyview take a tcp/udp feed? You might be able to connect to one of the output ports in the NMEA tab, maybe the signalk port?
