By design, the motor looks relatively tight: the output pinion goes through an O-ring, the frame is one-piece, the wires are entered through a rubber seal. For the finish, I want to apply an epoxy paint to protect it.
For the clutch / release system, as you can see from the attached documents, we were inspired by the original system (Autohelm 4000). The orange screwdriver serves as the pivot axis and the small piece of wood puts it in tension (these are only preliminary tests for the test!) cf vidéo on https://youtu.be/5M_wiioB7_g
This remains to be improved to allow better transmission. We tested in real conditions in beautiful sea and moderate wind and it seems to be going well: thank you again for the great job you have done and I am still waiting for the equipment I ordered from you, for more safety and to support you in your informed research!
