Node red idiots guide?
#1
I like the sound of node red, but it is difficult to grasp how to get started.

I'd like to display graphs of wind speed over time etc, on the boat, and for another project gps sog etc ina car project.

Is there an 'idiots guide' anywhere, ideally aimed at the 'idiot with a raspberry pi'!

This one's quite good IMHO - http://noderedguide.com/

Lots on youtube as well.

Quite easy once you scratch the surface, cutting and pasting works quite well as there's lots of examples available for download, graphing engine temperatures could be easily adapted to graph wind..

I just watched this video. An excellent introduction to Node-RED and MQTT.
