Hiu All,
I am trying (and failing) to build a replacement system for the now obsolete Moitessier HAT.
The only sensor I have working properly is the AdaFruit Ultimate GPS.
I have a MPU9255 MPU-9255 3-Axial Accelerometer + Gyroscope + Magnetometer GY-9255 which does not give me data (separate thread on this forum)
I also have a DVB-T + FM + DAB that may, or may not be working. I have no antenna and am too far away from AIS targets anyway to test properly- but I am getting 0 (NaN %) communication from the device in SignalK. I did follow the documentation, and get a green, active and running openplotter-rtl_ais process, but nothing in SignalK.
It could very well be I have all the wrong hardware, there's a lot on offer, and differences between sensors are, at least to me, not always obvious.
So PLEASE, can someone knowledgeable make a list of reccommended hardware for use with an OpenPlotter (Pi) installation? Maybe even with a link to wiring / installing / debugging?
Sad to say that I am now seriously looking at alternatives..
Thank you for your support!
Now looking at https://www.exp-tech.de/en/sensors/accel...ed-compass for a compass- anyone already using it?
