I'll be grabbing a hat as soon as I can and am working on designs to 3D print cases to hold the various sensors I am implementing on my boat.
I'd like to make one to hold my Pi and MacArthur hat as well, with cooling, and I'd be happy to share my 3D files with the community, or even print them off and ship them
Maybe the file is not available but figured I'd check anyways. Thanks!
That sounds nice! We have added an step file to the github: https://github.com/OpenMarine/MacArthur-HAT
The RJ45 connector is not rendered due to some error but the rest is fine.

Will do! Much appreciated!
Count on me to buy one of those if you made them!
I'm having a hard time finding a good way to fix the Rpi and MAcArthur prototype in my boat

This is good to hear... Have loved mine for the beta testing though i've had very little issues with it to report, and will buy a production unit when they come out.
Have also told quite a few people about it in a discord I follow, that are looking forward to release dates also.

Hey there, I'll give it a try on my end too.
First question : As seen on below screen
[attachment=2656]
It seems its missing a pin header similar to this :
[attachment=2657]
Is it planned to come with a pin header? If yes do you know the height? Thanks

The MacArthur HAT will come with 16mm hex stand-offs, and a "double-shrouded" stacking header similar to these:
https://thepihut.com/products/stacking-h...all-header
The HAT will more or less sit right on top of the USB connectors. The production version of the HAT won't have any protruding pins under the RJ45 connector.

I had the same question. The top and bottom are easy to design, will wait for the hat to make sure everything fits. Just gotta keep reloading the page to make sure I can get one ?

Will the Power Module for the MacArthur HAT also be available again soon? Ideally I'd like to order both at once if possible.

I was interested to see if it will fit mechanically with the pi 5 official cooler and still allow some air flow. Looks like it will be ok!
