I want KIP Display same on all devices
#1
Hi,
I have the KIP screen on my Pi exactly as I want it.  However when I log into KIP from a tablet or phone I have to set it up again on each device.  Is there a way to replicate the kip config from the Pi so that all connected devices would have the same data displayed as the Pi?

You can set the storage location to the server (remote? I can't remember what it's called) and then save the configuration there with a name. Then on each other display, you can copy that configuration to the local display.

Thanks. I'll try that when I get back to the boat.

Try turning on signalk authentication and set credentials in the settings on each device, should do it .

Thanks. If that works for me I wouldn't have to keep copying config files if I make changes.
