Getting started with .img vs .noobs
#1
Hi all,

Just trying to get started with OpenPlotter.  I've searched, honest, for the answer to this question.

I've bought my RPi and formatted my SD card (waiting for the HAT to become available again). Why the two files for download?

Is it that .img is the OpenPlotter software pure and simple and saves space and .noobs is the whole Noobs OS plus OpenPlotter or have I missed something?

Grateful any help.

i use the img. i think it boots faster and it is quicker to burn the img. than to install with noobs.

Ok thanks for explaining.  I’ll try the .img.

Cheers!
