(solved) Noobs for Openplotters hangs at Boot
#1
Good morning.

This morning I downloaded Noobs for Openplotters.

I formatted a sd-card with SD-Formatter and unzipped the
file to the freshly formatted sd-card.

I put the card into my Raspberry Pi 2 rev. B and switched Power on.
Immidiately the Green LED lighted without a break.
After 30 minutes I shut down.

Is this hanging on boot a known problem?

Is there any help?

Regards
Karl

After unzipping you must move the files away from the directory "Openplotter" to the upper level. Otherwise it won't boot.

" unzipped the

unzip in same folder
open the unzipped folder to NOOBS_v2_8_1 open that to show all those files select all copy paste to a fresh formatted card
if you unzip strait to the card those files are two folders deep and it wont see them to start the boot

Yes, I moved the files outside the folder and deleted the (now empty) folder.

And there were no folders anymore, just plain files?

Was your sd formatted as FAT32?

It takes 30-60 min for the first NOOBS install.
