TCP nmea over ethernet: Maximum clients
#1
Is there a limit to the number of wifi clients that the OpenPlotter TCP server on a pi3B will support, feeding nmea 0183 (kplex?) data?

Are individual active apps on tablets, or just individual tablets counted as a single client? Hopefully this last question makes sense?

Thanks, and apologies if this is the wrong board!

Thanks Jim. That's good. My reason for asking is that my existing hardware, a USR-TCP232-500 serial to Ethernet converter has a limit (for some reason) of 5 clients per port.

i am unfamiliar with that hardware.
maybe the 5 clients were meant for sharing a printer?
should only need one client for the serial the rpi.. then it can share to any number of devices with SK..
