OP on Rasp Pi 3 and Touch Sensitive Monitor
#3
Many thanks for all the information.

It's actually not for me but someone who is coming to the end of a massive re-fit of his 65ft Van De Stat 65ft Ketch. He has loads of early single colour LCD Instruments and Nav gear but due to being involved in an explosion some years ago has poor eyesight. He's seen OP working on my 22" Colour screen and is very impressed. A 7" or 10" is not big enough and if need be will go without a touch sensitive screen or upgrade later. This is what I was hoping to use as the price is OK:

The yacht is being dropped back into the water at the end of the month and can't stay at the marina as the water is not deep enough apart from on a "Spring Tide"!  What ever I can sort him out with will have to be OK until he arrives in Greece.

Thanks again
