OpenPlotter 2 roadmap
#51
Updated the first post with a new img and NOOBS pre-release with OpenPlotter Settings, OpenCPN and Signal K pre-installed and configured.

You can already translate those apps into your language here: https://crowdin.com/project/openplotter

Closer to the final release Smile

Hi Sailoog, you can't log in to SignalK, are you updating the server or am I missing something?  Cool Huh

Hi Sailoog, you can't log in to SignalK, are you updating the server or am I missing something?  Cool Huh

Installed the release image on my RPI3b+. Everything i use seems to work very well. Installed myself Synaptic to get the OpenCPN plugins like Oesenc pluigin. Oesenc chart set with the USB dongle works also verry well. MxTommy goes. There was a problem with the SignalK external server this afternoon. But later it was later solved and I was able to get MXTommy.

My GPSmouse is also working with an entry in SignalK.

Switched on the OpenGL driver in raspi-config.

Then I liked to try the completed same SD card in my RPI4. But that did not work. System does not start. At first i get an error, then the booting stops:

systemd-fskl@dev-disk-by\x2dpartuud-9488f0/a\x2d01.service.

I will make another SD and use this only in the RPI4 and sees if it works.

Everything looks and feels good. I'am only missing the original desktop of the beta.

NMEA2K not tried, But is allready in the winter storage.

Regards,

Bram

Made a new SD for my RPI4 with the same image. After 3 resets with power off and on at the start. It now works also on my RPI4.
Also with Oesenc chartset and the Dongle. GPSmuis also working via SignalK.

Bram

I have just installed the latest beta: https://github.com/openplotter/openplott...4-beta.deb

but I can't seem to install any of the packages in OpenPlotter Settings. most are giving missing source (or coming soon). The missing source is hptt://ppa.launchpad.net/....

Did I miss something in the installation?

Hello,
Did you add the missing sources?
The apps, which are grayed out, are still under development.
Remember that it is a BETA version.

I finally got it going - I had to click the add sources button, then an apt-get update from the terminal, then things were working as I expected.

How do I set OpenPlotter to automatically open up OPCN on boot as it was with version 1?  (I'm sure I'm just missing a setting).

thanks,
Geoff.
