OpenPlotter 2.0 set up tabs
#1
Hi, I have just installed OpenPlotter 2.0 on a Pi 3+ and it all seems to work OK except I cannot find the set up tabs as shown in the manual under:

Most of the core features of OpenPlotter can be configured from controls located on tabs

Where can I find this screen so I can set up my GPS/AIS NMEA inputs and download charts etc?

Many thanks
David

try serial, i2c, etc or use the little run arrow.

Hi, many thanks for your response. What app do I need to run to get to the OpenPlotter controls tabs?

You are reding the manual for OP1. This is the manual for OP2: https://openplotter.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

Tabs have been converted into individual apps.

Many thanks, but there is no description of the OpenPlotter Setting App in the manual. When I run OpenPlotter Settings the only tabs I can see along the top are 'OpenPlotter Apps' 'General Settings' and 'Raspberry Settings'. How do I access settings so I can connect my GPS and AIS (Quark device via WiFi) and add charts to OpenCPN?
Regards

old "tabs" now are independent "apps". You need to install "serial" app to connect your GPS. Charts are added in OpenCPN.
The new docs are under construction, help is welcome Smile

You need to click on the Serial App tab, (see pic) then click on the Install button. Do this for the apps you want to install & they will show up on the start menu.

If you click on the Help button you will see the instructions - not all are finished yet.

Many thanks, I now have the Serial app running so I could use a Serial to USB adapter to get the NMEA data from my Quark via a cable, but I would prefer to use WiFi. I can't see in the Network App where I set up a WiFi connection to the Quark (which acts as an AP).

Connect to that AP as client and use Signal K server to create the network connection. You do not need network app here.
