Adding device name to Serial list
#1
Hi,

A feature request for the Serial application.

When running 'sudo lsusb' in the terminal, you'll see a list of devices, together with the name.

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 046d:c05b Logitech, Inc. M-U0004 810-001317 [B110 Optical USB Mouse]
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1546:01a7 U-Blox AG [u-blox 7]
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2109:3431 VIA Labs, Inc. Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

As we can connect multiple USB devices, like AIS and GPS, wouldn't it be possible to show also the name, instead of just the IDs?

It would make it so much easier to select the correct device.

Best regards,
