(I posted different threads to keep the answers grouped - apologies for the multiple posts)
When I do a system check I get the error "There are serial connections with no alias assigned" for my GPS dongle
When I do a system check I get the error "There are serial connections with no alias assigned" for my GPS dongle
- I found the Serial App
- In the "Devices" Section - I have given aliases
- When I use the Connections tab, select the device in question and press "Edit" - I am redirected to OpenCPN
- In Open CPN: I select "Settings" -> Connections which lists my dongle as a NMEA0183 device but I can't figure out how to configure the Alias there
