Are SK Connections bi-directional ?
#1
Hi,
I'm trying to configure my OP2 SignalK autopilot connection. (In lockdown so 1800 miles from the boat Sad )

The connection needs to be bi-directional as it is on the SeaTalk bus and also has my wind and depth instruments connected to OP via a NMEA-Seatalk converter.

I think I understand it however documentation is still a little sketchy so ...

Q1 - Is a SignalK NMEA0183/USBSerial connection bi-directional by default or do I need to setup 2 SK connections (1.IN from Seatalk and 2.OUT to Autopilot) ?
Q2 - What is the purpose of the Output Event box ?
Q3 - What is the purpose of the Sentence Event box ?

I do have the SK NMEA - NMEA plugin setup and I assume this is where the Output and Sentence Event boxes come into play to route the data and prevent loops ?

Thanks
