A quickie on compass calibration
#1
I made a new SD card as my old one had issues after huuuuge log files and multiple SignalK instances. Today the compass was totally out of wack. Question. Do i need to unmount and do a "six sides of box" calibration. Or is leveling and offset to get roll/pitch sufficient and then go out sailing?
Thanks!

It depends on the sensors. impossible to say if yours have significant accelerometer bias or not. If you can copy your old values in, that would work or if you know your have small biases not bother.

The "six sides of box" is only for accelerometers and is not needed for compass calibration
