RPI4 Screen Blanking
#1
I just got a new touch screen HDMI monitor for my OP system. I'm having problems with screen saver.

I've done everything I think I'm supposed to do, including putting a line in config.txt, and installing xscreensaver and setting screen saver to none. Still, the screen shuts off after a while. Touching the screen won't bring it back, only a keyboard.

Anyone have any other suggestions on what I might do to force screen blanking off?

TIA

Andy

I've been through all of that. Strip it all out. In openplotter settings, there is a button to disable screen blanking. Be careful and click it only once. Nothing visually changes. There is no feedback. That is all you need to do.

Thanks Jamie. Why didn't I think of that?
