How to configure SignalK
#1
After the last update to SignalK 1.31.0, the lives of us mortals have complicated. OpenCPN no longer receives signals from SK. I understand that everything must be configured but without adequate instructions it has become almost impossible. If you then google to translate the technical terms in an absurd way it's done. I don't want to give up on OP but it's hard!
However, help is always welcome. Good wind!  Huh Cool

What are you specifically talking about? Nothing significant has changed in how things are configured in recent SK server updates.

Hi Tkurki, sorry for the outburst, for example as you can see from the photo "rool and pitch" are no longer transmitted in OpenCPN. Sensors and pypilots have long been configured and have always transmitted well. All on Pi4 with Moitessier and aggioirnamenti facts.  Sad

Ciao PaddyB and thank you, however, as you see, installed and selected. I'll try to reinstall SignalK Server to see if anything changes!

Why don’t you first make sure your system is receiving those inputs in Signal K.

I am not aware anything wrong systematically with the SK update process. If there is I’d oike to fix it.

Signalk will be sending out XDR Nmea messages then, on port 10110. Your barometer doesn't seem to be getting any data either, is the nmea converter definitely enabled? Opencpn set to receive nmea on port 10110?

Opencpn looks like it's connecting to the right place, is the plugin turned on and working?
Should show up in the dashboard >

And you could try this command in a terminal to see if any XDR sentences are getting created >

Quote:cat </dev/tcp/10.10.10.1/10110|grep 'XDR'
