Everything seems ok. Have you tried removing any ais configuration to make the warning disappear and check if the issue with can still exists?
Maybe you are right and you have 2 different issues.
Do you have any error related to the can connection in signal k log?

OHi
There are no can errors in the system check.
In the SK log I don’t know, where do I find it?

I know there are no can errors in system check but I want to know where your ais errors come from.

Login in signal k admin and go to "server" to find the logs

Hi,

Now that I made a restart of the system, with ais connection removed in SK (still physically connected) the can bus didn't work but this time I got an error in SK I have never seen before. See screen shot.
Restarting SK made can bus work and the error message is gone.
What is this offset and what can I do about it?
Finally, restoring the ais connection in SK with same settings as before seems to have fixed the conflict error in system check. So, these two errors are most likely nor related.
Cheers

Could you solve your problem? I have a very similar one, please help me.

No, the can bus problem is not solved. Approx 50% of the times I start the pi, SK has to be restarted one or more times before I get from the can bus.

That new error message seems a good clue but sincerely I have no idea where this offset comes from Huh

We should try to report this to SK developers, tkurki are you there?

It mostly starts working after one or two restarts of SK. Occasionally it takes maybe three or four and one time I had to remove SK connection for CAN and then put it back again.

The errors look like simply bad data from the adapter.

Have you tried with the Actisense Windows application? Just thinking about the possibility of a hardware fault, that would manifest itself this way.

You could also try installing canboat https://github.com/canboat/canboat and configure the connection to use that instead of canboatjs.
