Start OpenCPN not MAXIMIZED
#1
Running OpenCPN 5.2.4 on RPi4, Openplotter. Every time I close OpenCPN, it restarts maximized.

~/.opencpn/opencpn.conf shows Fullscreen=0;

Openplotter > Settings > OpenCPN installer > autostart on, full screen off

What else can I do? I'm tired of resizing my OpenCPN window.

openplotter/opencpn has an "start fullscreen" option to start opencpn in fullscreen.
but this is only one shot after reboot.

if you close the opencpn window with your current settings, it remenbers its position on the next restart in it´s configfile.
so try it out. best is also to make an backup of its current settings folder.
i do it this way in terminal:
cp -r ~/.opencpn ~/.opencpn-okay

so if something go really wrong with opencpn - you can go back to an good setting by renaming it back to ".opencpn"
because of the leading dot - these folders are invisible.

good luck and stay well

Agree, that's how it SHOULD work, but mine doesn't. The config file says Fullscreen=0, but it still opens full screen. The OP system check says OpenCPN is autostart, Fullscreen off. But still it starts full screen. ☹️
