Web-based autopilot route

I just wanted to thank everyone that has taken the time to look at this and do some discussion. Again, I really love OpenCPN, and both the pypilot plug-in and flask web application. However, as web applications like Freeboard (and even Avnav) are getting more and more popular, having some kind of connection between routes and autopilots sound unbelievably nice to me and maybe others too.

Not trying to sound pushy in any way, just hoping that there might be others that might also benefit from such a feature.
Although I fully realize that something like this is probably not easy in any way to be developed.
