It is allready based on RaspiOS 64 bits. Works very well. With SignalK, MXTommy Kip OpenCPN etc. allready installed. The wait is now for the 64 bits version of OpenPlotter. I'am convinced that 64 bits works much better.

The only problem I had, was using my GPSmouse. /dev/ttyACM0 was not executable. I had to change the rights. Then It can be set in SignalK and is working. And in OpenCPN SignalK input with automatic discovery generates IP adres and port 80 instead of 3000.

The focus of changes was

Better touchscreen support,
Arm64,
Better WiFi support
Sound
Added music player (mopidy, still needs some config improvements)

Desktop panel still causes some issues with touchscreen

Hi MG,

tried the latest WIP images. However this does not work here. Locks up during boot session.

I also have some problems with the serial GPS mouse settings. Not allowed to use the ttyAMA0 and ACM0 settings.

There are number of outstanding known issues which will be addressed, but it getting closer to what could be called "First release"
I'd really appreciate feedback and bug reports.

Thanks,
