New OpenPlotter images 2020-12-16
#21
There is a new 32 bits version for the RPI. Named 2021-01-11-raspios-buster-armhf-full.zip. Is this the same version as in the V2 version of OpenPlotter ?

Installed this version and added the OpenPlotter items and can report it all worked. Also with the kernel 5.10.7.

Thanks Sailoog,

I had already solved it. Now I am following OP 3. (sorry I can't help you, I can only test with a PI4_2 giga, and so far so good).

Good work and good wind, always!

just tried the latest OpenPlotter version 2. Works very well. Pity. it is still only a 32 bits version. 64 bits is running here allready for a long time with RaspiOS and on the 64bits Ubuntu Groovy Gorilla. Both also with the OpenPlotter additional applications. Working from PCIe NVMe SSD without an SD card in the system.

Thanks for all the work to create this great software. The promotion of SignalK as a marine data server is also a perfect idea.

Regards,

Bram

Do not worry, we will release the 64bit version the same day Raspberry officially do it, not before.

thanks for reporting!
Hi Sailoog and all !  The Foundation has released an official 64 bit Raspi OS version on  February 02, what are the plans ? V2 64 bit, or V3 64bit, and when ?

Yours faithfully.
