Moitessier GPS problem
#1
Hi
I am running a RPI4 + the latest version of OP2. I have a Moitessier 1 HAT. I recently did the install (like in the last week) and everything worked fine. Have this set up on my boat with canable to a N2K Raymarine network. All conversion from and to N2K was working fine and I could see the Raymarine GPS and the Moitessier GPS in the SK data browser. I started playing around with setting source priorities and after that I noticed that the Moitessier GPS stopped working properly - it started sending through null data for the GPS. I ran the self test and that was all ok. All the other data from the Moitessier is coming through ok. I ran moitessier.tty and get the responses listed below. Would appreciate any advice on what else i can look at to get this going. I am currently out sailing in the Bay of Islands NZ and it would be useful to have this working!
Thanks in advance.
Dave

I cannot say for certain what I experienced was caused by the same thing, but I had the same result. I solved the problem by reinstalling openplotter (starting.img) instead of using the Moitessierhat.img. Then installed the required packages. After that I no longer had any GPS issues.

Thanks for the feedback! I will try a reinstall as a last resort when I get back to home port.
Thanks
