Perfectly waterproof RF remote controls usable with Pypilot

For an autopilot, it is prudent to use a pi0 independent of the onboard computer. The connection is easily made by wifi between the autopilot and the onboard computer. This makes it possible to operate the autopilot without having to operate the onboard computer for safety and also for lower power consumption.

Why do you think it wouldn't be possible to write a driver for bluetooth device which would recognize which button is pressed and from that driver
send a command to pypilot (command which correspond to the pressed button)?

For nearly a year and a half, my three radio remote controls on board have always worked perfectly even though they are often very wet. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet.
