Add Realtek RTL2832U USB to receive AIS data

Hello,

I am new with OpenPlotter, I just installed the OS and want to receive AIS data with a Realtek RTL2832U USB device. It SDR capable, but I don't know to do it.

You just need to install the SDR app included in OpenPlotter and follow instructions: https://openplotter.readthedocs.io/en/la...f_app.html

I think I have it working, actually I am not near the coast, so I can not get any data.

Is possible to know if the link between OpenCPN and RDS_AIS process is OK? There is no any OK or green light to confirm the connection is successful:

OK, so I don't need to add other connection for AIS, it is centralized with Siganl K.

In Signal K I have no message from AIS:

it looks ok now. Make sure OpenCPN is connected to Signal k and you should get AIS data but only if you have a vhf antenna and some boats around you.
