Plan to use Pypilot to control Windsteering system. Suggestion for parts.
#1
Hello,

I am planning to use a pypilot based system to control my wind steering system in place of the wind wane in case of longer motoring.
The actuator movement would have to be around two inches.
From what I gather from the docs I will need to get a linear servo actuator and the motor controller aside of the raspberry pi.
Is this correct, or are there linear motor controllers that dont need the motor control?

Thanks a lot

That is correct, you'd still need a pypilot motor controller, see https://github.com/pypilot/workbook/wiki...-component
